## The obligations that matter most for a voice product

The Services are operated by **Chatley AI, Inc., a Delaware corporation**.

You remain the caller. That means you are responsible for:

- having a lawful basis to contact each number you call;
- complying with the **TCPA**, Do Not Call rules, and calling-hour restrictions —
  see [Compliance & DNC](../compliance.md);
- obtaining **recording consent** where required — see [Call recording & consent](./call-recording.md);
- **disclosing** that the caller is speaking to an AI where required;
- honouring opt-out requests promptly.

Chatley provides controls to help with each of these. It does not assume the
obligations.

:::tip[Before you start outbound calling]
Accept the DNC attestation on the agent and load your Do Not Call list first.
[Compliance & DNC](../compliance.md) walks through both.
