Acceptable Use Policy

Acceptable Use Policy setting out prohibited uses of Chatley AI voice agents.

Effective Date: 15 April 2026 · Last updated: 15 April 2026

The Services are operated by Chatley AI, Inc., a Delaware corporation. Chatley can call anyone, say anything you configure it to say, and do it at volume. This policy sets the limits.

You must not

Deceive people about who or what they are talking to

  • Present an AI agent as a specific real human being.
  • Clone or imitate a real person's voice without their documented consent.
  • Withhold AI disclosure where it is required.

Call unlawfully

  • Call numbers you have no lawful basis to contact.
  • Ignore DNC lists, opt-outs, or calling-hour restrictions.
  • Use Chatley for robocalling, spoofed caller ID, or wangiri and similar fraud.

Cause harm

  • Harass, threaten, defame, or intimidate.
  • Run scams, phishing, or social engineering — including any attempt to obtain passwords, one-time codes, card numbers, or government identifiers.
  • Impersonate a bank, government agency, law-enforcement body, or utility.

Operate in high-risk contexts without proper controls

  • Present agent output as professional medical, legal, or financial advice.
  • Use Chatley as an emergency or crisis line, or anywhere a failure to understand could cause physical harm. Regulated verticals (including healthcare and financial services) require appropriate configuration (e.g., HIPAA or PCI compliance mode) and executed agreements.
