Google Calendar
Connecting Google Calendar lets an agent read when you are free and place bookings into your calendar during a call.
Connect it
- Open your workspace and go to Integrations.
- Select the Google Calendar card.
- Choose to connect. You are sent to Google to sign in and approve access, then returned to Chatley.
- The card shows as connected once Google sends you back.
Approve the permissions Google asks for — declining any of them leaves the connection unable to read availability or write bookings.
One calendar at a time
Google Calendar, Cal.com and Calendly are alternatives to each other. Only one can be connected to a workspace at a time; disconnect the current one first.
What your agents can do with it
An agent's Appointment action can create bookings during a call, and each one shows up in Booked appointments.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| Sign-in did not complete | Finish the Google flow and allow every permission it asks for; you should land back on Chatley. |
| "Disconnect your existing calendar" | Another calendar is connected. Disconnect it first. |
| Bookings stop appearing | Access may have been revoked in your Google account. Reconnect from the card. |
