title: ElevenLabs
description: Use your own ElevenLabs account for voice instead of the built-in catalogue.
---

Connecting ElevenLabs lets your agents speak with voices from your own
ElevenLabs account, billed to that account rather than through your plan.

Most accounts never need this — the built-in [voice library](../voices.md)
covers the usual range. Reach for it when you have a voice of your own that you
want your agents to use.

## Connect it

1. Open your workspace and go to **Integrations**.
2. Select the **ElevenLabs** card.
3. Paste your ElevenLabs **API key**, which you create in your own ElevenLabs
   account.
4. Save.

Treat the key like a password. If it may have been exposed, revoke it at
ElevenLabs and connect again with a new one.

## Troubleshooting

| Problem | What to check |
| --- | --- |
| The key is rejected | Confirm it was copied whole and is still active in your ElevenLabs account. |
| Voices sound unchanged | An agent still uses the voice assigned to it — see [Voices](../voices.md) to change it. |
