Cal.com
Connecting Cal.com lets an agent book an appointment while it is still on the call, straight into the calendar you already use.
Connect it
- Open your workspace and go to Integrations.
- Select the Cal.com card.
- Connect in either of two ways:
- Sign in with Cal.com — you are sent to Cal.com to approve access and brought back.
- API key — paste a Cal.com API key into Enter your Cal.com API Key. Create the key in your own Cal.com account.
- Save. The card then shows as connected, along with which of the two methods the connection is using.
One calendar at a time
Cal.com, Google Calendar and Calendly are alternatives to each other — only one calendar can be connected to a workspace at a time. If another is already connected, Chatley asks you to disconnect it before this one will connect.
What your agents can do with it
Once connected, an agent's Appointment action can create bookings during a call, and everything it books appears in Booked appointments.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| Connecting fails with an API key | Check the key is still valid in Cal.com and was copied whole. |
| "Disconnect your existing calendar" | Another calendar is connected. Disconnect it first. |
| The card shows disconnected later | Access can be withdrawn at the Cal.com end. Reconnect from the card. |
