title: Workspaces
slug: /admin/workspaces
description: Group agents and their resources into separate workspaces, and switch between them.
---

A workspace groups a set of agents together with everything they draw on —
knowledge, templates, voices, campaigns, forms, and the calls they make. Most
accounts start with one and never need another.

Reach for a second workspace when two sets of agents should not share material:
separate clients, separate brands, or a sandbox you want kept away from what is
live.

## Switching workspaces

The workspace switcher in the app shell shows the workspace you are in. Select
it to move to another one. Everything in the sidebar — agents, knowledge base,
insights, appointments — then refers to the workspace you switched to.

If your account has only one workspace, the switcher simply shows its name.

## Your workspaces

The **Workspaces** page lists every workspace you can reach. Search them by name,
and choose **Open** to enter one, or rename it from its card. With none yet, the
page says *No workspaces yet* and invites you to create your first.

## Creating a workspace

1. Open **Workspaces** (from **Settings & Account**, or the workspace switcher) and select **Create Workspace**. Names may use letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens and underscores.
2. Give it a name — something you will recognise in the switcher later, such as
the client or brand it serves.
3. Save. The new workspace opens empty; create an agent in it to get started.

Creating workspaces is limited to Owners and Admins. If you do not see the
option, ask an Owner on your account.

## What is scoped to a workspace

| Scoped to one workspace | Shared across the account |
| --- | --- |
| Agents and their settings | Your profile and sign-in |
| Knowledge base, templates, voices | Plan, billing, and usage |
| Campaigns, lead forms, appointments | Do Not Call list and compliance attestation |
| Calls, transcripts, and insights | Members and their roles |

This split is worth remembering: moving an agent's material between workspaces
means recreating it, while adding a person to the account gives them access
according to their role rather than per workspace.

## Deleting a workspace

From **Workspaces**, deleting one asks you to confirm. The confirmation is
worth reading: deleting permanently removes every agent and all data belonging
to that workspace, and it cannot be undone. Move anything you want to keep into
another workspace first.
